Hello, how are you doing? I am joining Pam at her Everyday Living blog for her Garden Galore party, Monday June 25th. This is my Garden post, I hope you come by!
A lot of these photos were taken early before the hot sun hit. I know I have shared the hydrangeas with you but I wanted to attempt to group them for you. So if you pause on them they will rotate.

Hydrangeas go through so many color changes through the season. Some flowers more than others. It’s always interesting to see the latest changes.
Zinnias growing on the fence line.
And some just having a party.
A photo of the back of the house, this is what we look out on from the porch.
Pretty blue hydrangeas.
This is supposed to be a butterfly bush but I have seen other bushes called the same thing. They are a thin wispy bush but bloom pretty in the summer. If you google this you will see the many bushes shown. It may be the chaste tree. I gladly accept your knowledge on this one.
The blue hydrangeas are next to the porch are starting to fade and losing their color.
Lots of interesting colors changing on some of the hydrangeas.
But the roses are still vibrant as can be.
I love taking photos of flower buds before they have opened up. I guess that’s a nerdy side of me but it just fascinates me to see this sunflower like this.

Love your rotating feature as the hydrangeas change colors. Your photos are so pretty. I am envious of your zinnias, Your zinnia arrangement you shared last week was exquisite.
I enjoyed your bud to flower sunflower photo. I actually had a volunteer sunflower that took root from my birdfeeder that had sunflower seeds. It was a nice surprise.
Fun strool through your garden this morning.
Thank you so much Bonnie. That’s so kind of you to say. That alien looking sunflower was from a few random seeds that were left in a pot last year so we had the same end result. Nature wanted us to grow a few sunflowers! So glad you came by!
Beautiful flowers Jan. I am loving your hydrangeas too, mine are just starting to open up. Can’t wait to see more of them
Thanks Christine! It’s always exciting at the beginning of the season.
Lovely, as always. Thank you soo much for sharing with us.
Thank you! You are always so sweet.
Jan, your hydrangeas are out of this world. Your entire garden is so inviting and looks so healthy. Thank you for all the beauty. By the way, I am a flower nerd also!
Thank you so much! Haha! I have always been terrible at science and probably couldn’t retain anything taught now but those ‘flowers to be’ really get us flower nerds!
I am also fascinated by the many stages that flowers go through. I think that’s one of the many joys of having a garden — each day brings something new. That sunflower shot was wonderful.
It can be fascinating, Sandra! You have to allow yourself to get in on it and think I remember buying you and you were a mauve color and now you are turning red? Really? Down here where hydrangeas aren’t red! Thanks for coming by and commenting, Sandra.
Jan, you have the most beautiful hydrangeas in your garden with so many varying colors. I love zinnias, they are so happy! I can’t wait for my sunflowers to bloom. Thanks for linking to Gardens Galore!
Thank you Pam! The mister is spellbound by zinnias as well. Thank you for hosting another great party. We have had hot weather for a long time so I hope I have something blooming for the next get together.
What lovely flowers! My hydrangea is blooming like crazy now too. I need to add a bit of lime to mine to maintain the pretty lavendar that I like. Thanks for sharing your garden!
Thank you Carole! I know that lavender hydrangea is beautiful, such a pretty color. Thank you for visiting and commenting.
Your photography is inspiring!
Carol, that is such a wonderful compliment! Thank you so much!
