It's All About Rich Moments, Enjoying Prettiness Indoors or Outdoors
Looking Back at 2017
It’s time to change your calendars friends! Can you believe it? I hope this year proves to be a good year for us all. Thank you my readers for being you and reading my posts. They say it’s good to look back before going forward, to review your decisions and choices. Would you repeat them or will you go in another direction?
January ~ I was so fortunate to find some really pretty orchids. The white ones while pretty don’t make me gasp like these with the intense color. Who wants more white in the winter?! It really brings the corner to life with the amazing color. They greet me every morning and put a smile on my face. The tulips are holding up well.
There was ice in January but it melted quickly.
February ~ We have had so little cold weather this winter. It’s been unusually warm and many flowering plants and trees thought it was time to bloom here.
March ~ We hadn’t had a winter and everything was so alive so early in the season.
Mother’s Day brought three tablescapes with it.
The hydrangeas wore a beautiful blue this summer.
September ~ Autumnal Equinox is September 23rd so I think it’s time to share my fall decorating. There were lots of pretties in the living room.
October ~ The light is much softer and cooler outside now. It’s definitely a change from summer. Purples and lavenders paired with blues. I keep finding myself drawn to the colors regardless of the name of the month.
November ~ I bet I know what’s on your mind right now. Is it your Thanksgiving table? Me too!
It looked like we were going to have a beautiful Fall. Then the weather changed rapidly and with rain and wind the leaves were gone.
December ~ Well as you know this winter has been so cold! We got four to five inches of snow which is unheard of down here. It was beautiful but we lost our electricity and that wasn’t fun. But thank goodness for the fireplace.
Finally the Christmas tree and decorations were shared with you.
